Untransparent, Untransparent Brand

A term describing the opposite of transparent, transparency.

When a CBD brand offers no history of third-party testing, no Certificate of Analysis, or they have an unverified hemp source. When a brand is untransparent, it should be assumed their CBD quality does not meet legal standards.

USDA Certified Organic

USDA certified organic ingredients, such as hemp for CBD, are grown and processed according to federal guidelines.  Factors include soil quality,  pest and weed control, and additive use. Organic farms rely on natural substances and biologically based farming methods as much as possible to produce a pure CBD. 

USDA Certified Organic Seal

The USDA Certified Organic seal on a product or website indicates a product has met the USDA Certified Organic standards as seen above.

US Pharmacopeia (USP)

US Pharmacopeia (USP) is one of three national standard-setting organizations  validating the methods of Third-party lab tests used for testing CBD.
